The board of adjustment is a quasi-judicial board that hears and decides conditional use permits, appeals, and variances to the Grays Harbor County zoning code and to the critical areas protection ordinance.
The Board of Adjustment is a citizen volunteer board that consists of seven members; two members from each Commissioner district with the seventh member being either the Chair of the Grays Harbor County Planning Commission or their representative.

Board of Adjustment Meetings
Regular meetings are scheduled on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners meeting room, 100 W. Broadway Avenue, Montesano, WA 98563.
Prior to each hearing, the staff report(s) and agenda will be posted here. Staff reports contain Findings of Fact, Conclusions, and recommended Conditions of Approval. The pertinent code sections for each proposal are included within the staff report. Full text of the code is available on the Planning Division Home Page.
