The Assessor’s Office and the GIS Department maintain a detailed series of maps of all parcels within Grays Harbor County to include ortho/aerial photos. Each time a new plat is created, or a segregation or combination is recorded, an adjustment is made to the Geographic Information System (GIS).

These maps were created from available public records and existing map sources, not from field surveys. Mapping features from all sources have been adjusted to achieve a “best fit” registration to the mapping GIS system. While great care was taken in this process, maps from different sources rarely agree as to the precise location of geographic features. The relative positioning of map features to one another results from combining different map sources without field ground confirmation.

THESE MAPS ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE
FOR A FIELD SURVEY.

SURVEY’S ARE NOT CREATED, KEPT, OR MAINTAINED IN THE ASSESSOR’S OFFICE

If you believe that there is a mapping related error, please follow the instructions below to report the problem:

1.

2.
