VALUATION
The fee schedule for Building Permits is based upon a national valuation of the work to be performed.  The valuation of a project is directly related to the amount of work performed by the County for building plan review, building permit issuance, building construction inspection, and building permit administration.  Building valuation data provided by the International Code Council (ICC) shall be used in determining project valuation.

NEW CONSTRUCTION
The valuation of new construction work requiring a Building Permit shall be based upon the most current building valuation schedule contained in the International Code Council’s Building Valuation Data based on occupancy designation, type of construction and square footage.

FACTORY-BUILT STRUCTURES
Factory-built Homes and Commercial Structures as regulated by WAC 296-150F or its successor, shall be valued at 50-percent of a site-built home or commercial structure value based on occupancy designation, type of construction and square footage.

GRADE AND FILL
The valuation of work requiring a Grading Permit shall be based upon the adopted International Building Code or its successor.

REPAIRS AND ALTERATIONS
The valuation for repairs, alterations and changes in use to both residential and commercial structures shall be based on the value represented by the permit applicant.  In establishing the value of such work, the Building Official may require an itemized bid for the work covered by the permit.

The valuation for miscellaneous structures shall be based upon the following:
